Keep it simple with an easy air fryer pizza toastie, packed with protein.

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of white bread
  • 100g Passata
  • 5g Italian dry herbs
  • 60g Cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 4 chorizo slices (Roughly 20g)
  • Ground pepper (Optional)
  • Pinch of salt (Optional)


Method:

  1. Mix together the passata, Italian mixed dry herbs (Add salt and pepper for taste)
  2. Spread the prepped sauce onto one slice of bread, add cheese and 2 slices of chorizo
  3. Double it up by adding the next slice of bread on top and repeat step 2
  4. Add in cocktail sticks around the rim of the chorizo slice before adding to air fryer so they don't curl up
  5. Set your air fryer to 180° and place your toastie in for 7 minutes
  6. Take out your toastie and wait until its cool to eat
